"Oh my god! That's amazing!" They were the words our of the wife's mouth after having her first sip of Preacher Man. Now this is not a common occurrence in our house but in this case perfect praise. Preacher Man is a wonderful witbier packed with sweet fruits, slight tartness and moreish spiciness. As the can promises plenty of peach and apricot but so much more. Luscious honey, lemon zest, spicy banana and sweet vanilla.
The wonderful nose gives way to sweet fruit flavours with the first sip. Juicy sweetness fills the mouth which is then washed away with slight tart and bitter aftertaste which is dry and aromatic. At a nice 5.0% ABV this is defiantly a moreish quick sipper for the summer month. As a seasonal release grab it while you can. We are gutted we only pick a couple of cans up as this would make perfect August weekend daytime drinkin in the sun.
Overall as a witbier, Peacher Man is a stonker packing plenty of lush fruit flavours and just the right balance of sweet, sour and bitter. The only downside in our opinion is that this is not core range so get your while you can.
