Mad Hatter Brewery are one of the craziest and boundary pushing breweries in the UK. Crazy combinations of flavours and super tasty brew aplenty. One of their best brews in the core range is without doubt the fantastic Penny Lane Pale. However, the introduction of Double PLA and now Triple PLA is something to get excited about. The later is indeed a special ale indeed. Packing a whopping 10.4% and filled full of super intense flavours it is a must try.
TPLP is a flavour packed pale ale which delivers a big punchy hit of alcohol (10.4% ABV). Massive flavour hits of juicy fermented fruit, caramel, warm alcohol and a sweet bitter aftertaste. Little Christmas cake and a nice glass of sherry. This is no session drink but defiantly does not taste as strong as the ABV. 100% quaffable but we imagine 3 or 4 of these will be the job.
We plan at some point to try all three Penny Lane Pale's in one sitting to see which is the best but currently Triple is definatly on the "drink more" list. Pick some up while you can and prepare for fantastically drinkable TIPA.
